Adventures in learning - through writing.
Adventures in learning begin when a youth is engaged. Many tell us that they do not like to write, so here is the camera or IPad. Take a photo. Then look at the photo, and write about what it's in the photo. Often we go from a single index card to three or four. "Is that to many?" Is there a way to capture this on a test. How do we share that type of success? It is more often reflected in their critical thinking skills, and yes on another test. At Backpack Journalist, we are now publishing a newsletter/paper.
